Membership of SAL is now a subscription base and of two types: those that pay the industry levy, that is commercial growers (described as “A Members”) and those individuals and entities that don’t pay the levy but are accepted by the Board as having a significant connection with, and sufficient interest in, the affairs of the company to warrant membership (described as “B members”)
Summerfruit Australia Limited welcomes new members, whether they are growers, packhouses, wholesalers, retailers, farm input suppliers or other product and service providers.
We believe for the industry to be successful it must be a strong national community that unites to achieve common goals and ensures the collective and individual success of businesses involved in the industry. We also believe that all members should have a direct say about the future of the industry and direct access to our organisation.
What Membership means:
• You have direct access.
• You have an equal say.
• You have greater input.
• Your commitment to the industry will be returned to you as greater opportunity for success in your business.

• Grower members have the opportunity to vote directly for a Director and at general meetings.
• Members can influence and control the direction of their industry.
• The arrangement optimizes the leadership and representation selection process while ensuring regional factors are not overlooked.
