Integrated Pest and Disease Manual for Australian Summerfruit
The Integrated Pest and Disease Manual outlines the integrated pest and disease management (IPDM) strategy for Australian summerfruit. From its initiation, this strategy has involved collaboration between Australian summerfruit orchardists, researchers and extension specialists. The objective was to create a strategy that gave practical pest and disease management options instead of ‘warm fuzzy’ philosophy.

Australian peach and nectarine production is forecast to remain unchanged at 110,000 MT through CY 2008. Plum production is also forecast to remain unchanged through CY 2008 at 34,000 MT.
